Arrivals to Schiphol (airport and train station).

During your wait for your luggage it is already possible to buy a paper OV-chipcard to Ede-Wageningen using the ticket vending machines. You can also choose to buy an anonymous ov-chipcard already.

Note that the paper OV-card machines and the ticket offices generally do not accept credit cards. You can pay with debit cards (Maestro). Paying in cash is only possible at the ticket office (in the main hall near the platforms). It will cost you an additional 50 eurocents.

The tickets are valid on all national trains and some international trains. For national trips like this, no reservation is needed. With the ticket you can just enter the first train that goes into the desired direction.

After having left arrivals, just follow the signs with the trains on it towards the center hall.

From Schiphol Airport to Ede-Wageningen

Once you are there you first need to take care of the last part of the journey. You will need an-OV chipcard

Now you just need to find the right train. The large blue screens show you how to reach all larger train stations (including Ede-Wageningen) and where your train leaves from. The yellow signs also indicate departures of trains and are sorted on destionation first. If you are not sure what to do, or where to go, don't hesitate to ask the NS service staff for help.

To get to Wageningen the fastest, you want to get an Intercity service calling at Ede-Wageningen. The intercity service heading for Nijmegen is also possible.

From Ede-Wageningen to Wageningen Busstation (busstop)

The fastest bus to Wageningen is the Valleilijn, line 88. Unlike all other buses, this bus does not stop at the main bus station on the north side of the station. The Valleilijn will stop at the south side of the station. You can find this bus stop by walking down the stairs towards the exit. When you are downstairs you have to go left and back up the stairs (In order to prevent terrible back pains from carrying your luggage: you can use the alternative elevator and sloped paths as well). You can find the bus stop around the corner on the left. You can also exit the station on the other side and get bus 52 which goes to Arnhem. This bus stops at the busstation in Wageningen as well.

Remember the OV-chipcard you just bought at the airport (not the paper one)? You can use this card here as well to enter line 88 to Wageningen Bus station. You can also buy a ticket form the busdriver. The Wageningen bus station is the terminal station of the bus.

There is also a nice movie which helps you get from Schiphol to Wageningen.

Welcome to Wageningen!
